Production On Our Radio Show (Student Radio)

On Thursday 30th September, we were assigned into groups. I was put in a group with Chris Joynes, Cara Carter and Zac Bishop. We were then told what genre of radio we are making. For our first show we have to do student radio. We made a brainstorm of ideas in the lesson of what we are doing for the show. We came up with the idea that Zac willl be presenting the show, Chris does the news and sport, Cara does the interviews and I do the techniqual aspects such as arraging the music, jingles and mixes. We all came up with our running clock and running order.

On Tuesday 5th, i came in on my day off and helped Chris with the news research, i also chose some songs for our show and downloaded them. Because i had my hospital appointment i came in late.

On Wedensday 6th, we decided to go first so we can get all our recording done. We did the intro of our show and placed on our show. Zac was doing the editing and putting everything on the time line. Me and Cara wrote a script for people we asked to read off, this is for our feature 'What happened to me today'.
We then got our volunteer's to the radio studio, i booked a zoom and they said their lines into the zoom. I then put it on the computer. We then recorded Chris's news and sport in the radio studio.
We eventually got the radio peacied together.
